Bev is our Salon Director with over 30 years’ experience.

‘Having completed my apprenticeship at Peppers back in the 90’s it felt like coming home when I purchased the salon after having to take a little time out to care for my late first husband.

Over the years I gained a multitude of experience working mobile, at Fenwick and Salon Chique amongst others. My expertise will ensure you have great looking hair whether it is a complete colour change, restyle, perm or dressing for special occasions such as weddings and proms. Everything we do is all about you, the client.

Away from the salon I enjoy shows, music and theatre, going to film/tv conventions, dancing and keeping fit at the gym . I enjoy  my supportive role arranging and organising comic con events for charity  in my spare time with my family, when i have the privilege to meet with celebrities from iconic film and tv shows’

Zoe is our wonderful, hugely talented beautician with over 15 years’ experience.

‘ I worked with Bev at Salon Chique and have been self-employed since then for over five years. I was delighted when she asked me to bring my beauty business into the salon having already worked in the former Peppers before Bev came back and took it over. To cap this it was an honour when Bev asked me to be her maid of honour at her wedding last year.

Away from work, you will find me tinkering with car engines and watching anything Disney!’

‘I joined the team a year ago and love coming to work every day. After being promoted to Senior Stylist I help to look after the salon.

I have been a hairstylist for over 6 years now and am trained in all aspects including styling, colouring, gents, hair up etc. My passion is creative colouring and I love a challenge. Whether a restyle or a complete colour change it is something I truly love.

Away from work, I have been helping out at the Community Shop with my Mum.’

Lucie has such a passion for hairdressing that she funded her training all by herself.  After working at You and Co on reception, Lucie completed her level 2 and has been with Mirage for nearly 2 years now and has a natural born gift that just cannot be taught, a massive talent.

‘I love working in such a friendly, fun and supportive environment, the team are amazing.  I love all aspects of hair work, particularly colouring,  it’s fabulous how a change of colour can make you feel like a whole new person.

Away from work I love spending time with my family, going to the cinema and have just moved into my first house!’

I’ve wanted to be a hairdresser since leaving school, and 17 years later I still love what I do. I especially enjoy colouring and helping clients find a look that makes them feel confident and comfortable.

I love meeting new people and building genuine relationships with my clients — for me, the best part of hairdressing is making people feel good, relaxed, and looked after while they’re in my chair.

When I’m not in the salon, I’m usually spending time with my family, heading to the gym, or out running while training for a half marathon. One day, I’d love to tick the London Marathon off my bucket list.
